Teresa’s vibrant paintings, drawings, and ceramics reflect on their extensive time within nature, nurturing it along with a newfound appreciation of solitude, and their deep love for art history. After returning to Upstate New York, they found themselves surrounded in color and the homely floral landscape her mother precariously composed. Around constant inspiration, this imagery found its way into her work. Teresa’s work consists of inspiration from art history, plant life directly from her mother’s garden, the local wildlife, and her personal connection to the environment through maintaining, guarding, and coexisting.
